wedding Proposals + Engagemnts on pensacola beach
It is proposal season on Pensacola Beach! And I can’t get enough of it! These have been the most fun to capture this season!
As some of you may know, I was a wedding planner for 10 years. So capturing a proposal is SO FUN for me! And this past week and a half I have captured FOUR proposals on the beach! I don’t know how they all happened so close together and in the same area but I’m assuming it has something to do with the warmer weather on the beach (well besides this week during Spring Break, of course!).
Most of the time the person being proposed to has no clue so I’m just trying to act casual standing around the area until the big question is popped. But a few times lately everyone has know about family pictures and then that’s when the knee drops. That has been so fun since everyone is a little more dressy for pictures they already knew about.
If you’re interested in booking a proposal with me just know that I will be jumping up and down with you in excitement! We’ll capture the proposal and then enjoy the moment by having a fun and easy guided couples session. This way you can have some candids as well as more posed images to look back on! And if you have family and/or friends there for the big moment I can include them in the pictures as well.
I generally try to give a good amount of sneaks 1-2 days after I see you so you have a good variety to share while you’re waiting on your full gallery.
On the day of the below proposal it was raining like crazy, but the couple was driving in from Auburn to visit. I may have looked like a crazy person on the beach with a bright blue poncho on but it luckily cleared up just in time to get some beautiful pictures! This bride was BEAMING and I got to have some fun and be creative with a clear umbrella. This all makes my heart so happy.
