Florida Weather is Unpredictable — But Your Photo Session Doesn’t Have to Be

If you’ve lived in Florida for more than a week, you already know how unpredictable our weather can be. One moment it’s sunny and bright, and the next, you’re running for cover from a sudden downpour. As a photographer based here in the Panhandle of Pensacola, Florida - I’ve learned to embrace the chaos—and more importantly, to work with it, not against it.

The good news? I’m flexible.

When you book a photo session with me, you’re not just booking a time and place—you’re also getting someone who understands how to dance around Florida’s forecast. If we need to shift your session due to weather, I’m happy to work with you to find another date that works. Your photos are important, and I want the experience to be just as special as the images we create together.

Now, if it’s only lightly sprinkling and you're up for a little adventure, I have a fun backup plan: a clear umbrella! It not only keeps you dry, but also adds a magical, romantic touch to your photos. Some of my favorite sessions have happened in the soft glow of cloudy skies and raindrops. I have also done pictures under a covered pavilion by the sandy dunes and they turned out magical and still gave that beach vibe!

That said, your comfort always comes first. If the weather just isn’t cooperating and we can’t find an alternative date that works for both of us, you’ll receive a full refund—no stress, no hassle. I want my clients to be happy and not feel uncomfortable.

So whether the Florida skies bring sun, clouds, or a sprinkle of surprise, I’m here to make your session memorable, fun, and beautifully captured.
